It's the spookiest time of the year, and the Newburgh Civitan Zombie Farm needs your help!
-
Volunteers signing up for the October 29th shift will assist with parking. This is HFCU's night - let's show up for them!
-
Volunteers signing up for the October 16th shift will assist with Children's Day. This event provides an opportunity for little kiddos to trick-or-treat thru the “haunted house” without the jump scares. ALL proceeds from this shift benefit our friends at Easterseals!
-
Any time volunteered at Zombie Farm is worth 2x the hours.
-
Volunteers should wear red People Helping People shirt or sweatshirt, jeans, and comfortable shoes. If you are volunteering for a parking shift, you will be outside and should plan to dress according to the weather.
But wait, there's more!
Zombie Farm also needs volunteers every weekend (Friday - Sunday) taking tickets and working in the kitchen.
-
Ticket and kitchen shifts are 5:30 - 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 5:00 - 9:00 pm on Sundays.
-
If you wish to volunteer for a ticket taking or kitchen shift throughout the month of October, let Susan know the date/time you will volunteer. You will still get 2x the hours.
-
Make sure to track your hours after you volunteer for these shifts!
