Description

Helping Children in Need Sleep Better

All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. In Indiana and across the US, too many boys and girls go without a bed—or even a pillow—to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their happiness and health. That’s where Sleep in Heavenly Peace comes in.

We’re a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling, and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.

Join us, as Heritage sponsors a "build day" for the Evansville chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Some volunteers will stay on-site to build beds while another team of volunteers will deliver the beds that were built during the previous month. And the best part is that all of these beds are delivered to children and families in the Evansville community.

No experience, no worries. Our builds are designed with everyone in mind. It’s easy and it’s fun.

Our organization is dependent on and designed around community involvement. This is an opportunity for the community to come together and embrace these children in need. Whether it’s helping at a Build Day or on a Delivery Day, we have something for everyone. Not only are events fun, but they are also rewarding. A few hours of your time will mean the world to a child sleeping in an unfavorable condition.

Our chapter is a 100% volunteer organization. Your donation stays in our community and serves kiddos right here. All funds are used to build and deliver our fully furnished beds to kiddos. Our expenses include tools, lumber, and hardware for Build Days, new mattresses, bedding, and pillows for deliveries.
